The Newtonmore Group is a venture capital and private equity group based in London, UK. Over the past 3 decades, our venture investment team has partnered with over 40 entrepreneurs and have backed such market-defining companies as GFI Informatique (France's largest independent system integration company), Seatwave (Europe's largest fan-to-fan ticket exchange), Cybersports (the world's first first-person football live action MMOG), and Scene Systems (a disruptive 3d animation software company). Some of our private equity successes include Vogica (France's largest kitchen distributor), Groupe Proclif (French hospital chain), Karrimor, and Trigon.

We work with strong management teams to identify and invest in promising opportunities. When the transaction value exceeds our own financing capabilities, we will syndicate transactions with other firms. We typically invest EUR 500k to EUR 5m per transaction.

We typically look for entrepreneurs who think big and operate sustainable high-margin business models. While our current focus is on software, digital media, consumer Internet, and mobile telecommunications, we do opportunistically look at other sectors too. Wherever we can, we will contribute domain expertise, operational experience, and a large network of contacts.

We have long-standing experience structuring and participating in equity and debt financing for start-up and growth companies across a wide range of sectors. We will add value on investee company boards and advise portfolio companies on key operational issues such as recruiting management, developing technology roadmaps, developing go-to-market strategies, identifying acquisition or expansion opportunities. We also advise on fundraising strategies, specifically identifying financial and strategic investors. We also act as catalysts for potential liquidity events by identifying potential M&A opportunities, performing IPO planning and helping with the execution.
